Supervise daily structural steel works (fabrication, erection, bolting, welding).
Read and interpret shop drawings, structural drawings, and method statements.
Assign tasks to steel workers, welders, and riggers and monitor productivity.
Ensure correct installation of columns, beams, bracings, plates, and connections.
Coordinate with site engineers, crane operators, and safety officers.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and tolerances.
Monitor material usage and report shortages or damages.
Enforce HSE rules and ensure safe lifting and working-at-height practices.
Inspect completed works and rectify any defects.
Report daily progress, manpower, and issues to site management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 5-8 years experience in structural steel works.
Proven experience as a Steel Foreman or Supervisor.
Strong knowledge of steel erection methods and welding procedures.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Experience working with tower cranes, mobile cranes, and lifting plans.
Basic knowledge of quality control and safety standards.
Leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
