The
Steel Foreman
will oversee all structural steelwork and supervise the steel fitting team.Responsibilities:
Manage steel fitting schedules and teams Interpret structural blueprints and assign tasks accordingly Maintain work quality and safety compliance
Requirements:
Strong experience in steel fabrication and supervision Shipyard or heavy fabrication background preferred Strong knowledge of steel construction and fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
