Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Steel Foreman

to supervise and manage steel erection and fabrication activities on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have

extensive knowledge of steel structures, local safety regulations, and working experience in the UAE

, ensuring high-quality execution of steel works as per project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all steelwork activities including

fabrication, erection, alignment, and welding

. Read and interpret

structural drawings, shop drawings, and steel fabrication plans

. Plan daily work schedules and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment accordingly. Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with

project specifications, timelines, and safety standards

. Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure efficient workflow. Conduct

toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety briefings

to promote a safe work environment. Inspect installed steel structures for alignment, quality, and proper connections. Report any technical or operational issues to the site engineer or project manager. Maintain accurate daily records of work activities, labor attendance, and materials used. Ensure all work complies with

UAE construction codes, safety laws, and company policies

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience

in steel works within the UAE construction industry. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams of steelworkers and fabricators. Strong knowledge of

steel erection methods, welding techniques, and safety practices

. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Familiar with UAE safety regulations, DM/Dubai Municipality standards, and civil defense requirements. Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment related to steelworks. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and able to work in challenging site environments.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
