2. Job purpose (Give a brief (1-2 sentences) of the purpose of the position and how that work impacts business results)

ICT department is responsible for achieving revenue and margin targets through selling solutions beyond connectivity excluding traditional telecom services, including new emerging technologies like Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Center, Smart City Solutions, IoT, Big Data, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence that are enabling and driving digital transformation.
The purpose of this position is to drive the integrated ICT Marketing Communications agenda for key government, enterprise and strategic partners for various verticals and executing it on time. This position will be responsible for creating and executing ICT vertical propositions with through the line communications activities, PR & social media campaigns, website pages, strategies and activities as per the agreement of the internal stakeholders and in alignment with the business requirements following the brand guidelines that build and positively shift the perceptions of du from a traditional telecommunications provider to a leading ICT provider through its unique ICT offerings. In addition the person will lead ICT participation in key industry events and customer events along with relevant award submissions in the ICT space to build upon company recognitions and credibility.
This work involves managing internally within ICT marketing and communications and ICT business team for ICT Marketing Communications requirements and externally with business strategic partners (like Injazat) and agency partners (such as TBWA & Havas)

3. Key Accountabilities (6 \xe2\x80\x93 8 accountabilities max)
  • Support in developing marketing communications road maps & Marcomms plan for ICT solutions, new partnerships (e.g. Hassantuk or DMCC etc.)
  • Develop & manage ICT marketing budgets vs. spends
  • Act as a Marketing Communications SPOC for ICT business team to align project deliveries. Briefing the different teams within du and agency partners as the project manager to develop full communication plans.
  • Act as a Marketing Communications SPOC with all strategic partners and finalize marketing & communications plans / roadmaps and execution of the plans.
  • Develop campaign briefs, ATL & BTL communications not limited to (i.e. brochures, websites, digital marketing etc.)
  • Manage execution of all marketing communications plans / activities related to ICT Solutions including creatives, media, SM, Icoms, digital & websites for the ICT department.
  • Define PR, SM, Icoms & Events plan (e.g. Gartner Symposium, GITEX etc.)
  • Evaluate speaker opportunities, maintain Calendar for all ICT leaders speaker engagements.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise and passion to convey technical narratives to media, customers and internal partners.
  • Collaborate with ICT solutions product marketing, sales, client architect and brand teams to create compelling productisation, naming and communications strategies that illustrate the functionality and key benefits of du ICT for customer & project wins.
  • Participation (planning and execution) at Industry / customer events and award submissions.
  • Create a consolidated end-to-end communications plans jointly on the ICT initiatives and focus. Ensuring all communication is developed in line with the overall brand guidelines.
  • Track the budget and ensure communications spend is managed within budget.
  • Ensure budget allocations are correctly met and distributed in agreement with the ICT business unit and approved by marketing budget owner.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that target the end user and drive leads.
  • Have full ownership of raising PRs, receiving POs and ensuring they are sent to agencies and partners prior to work being delivered as per the current process in place.
  • Generate savings through negotiations and finding alternatives to ensure we keep spends low.
  • Develop/enhance Customer reference case studies and product white pages.
  • Plan and execute customer events including hosting or sponsoring Tech Forums and take steps to increase participation.
  • Ability to turn technical specifications into business solution.
  • Develop technical content writing to be used in in collateral, trade marketing, and communications
  • Ensure successful execution of marketing communications strategies, including events, website, social media and PR.
  • Be part of the meetings with marcomms teams and agency, to clarify requirements and give feedback on creative development when necessary
  • Develop and implement strategies used to identify lead generation opportunities.
  • Support business development, sponsorship and sales activities to ensure that new revenue opportunities are developed and actioned.
  • Engage daily with ICT product team, sales team, and BD team to develop campaigns to extend the reach of these communications activites.
  • Engage daily with marcoms teams and agencies for delivery of communication requirements
  • Relationship building with strategic partners for marketing communication requirements fulfilment for successful project completion Create newsletters, white papers, and marketing emails targeting Enterprise & ICT customers
4. Key Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Competencies
  • Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business/Communications /Marketing.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in PR, event management and corporate communications.
  • 3 years in technology/telecommunication industry in similar role.
  • The successful candidate should be comfortable being in the spotlight and dealing with pressure.
  • Demonstrable success in leading and orchestrating virtual teams.
  • Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high stress environments, as well as an ability to escalate appropriately
