with a strong background in Solar PV projects and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for our New Project In Maldives. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Medium scale / large-scale Solar energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project lifecycle management, from initial feasibility through to commissioning, and will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, solar PV and closure of BESS and projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client specifications.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
Oversee the preparation of detailed project plans and reports, tracking progress, and mitigating risks.
Ensure that all project milestones are met, and that risks, changes, and delays are properly managed and communicated.
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Conduct site visits and ensure quality control measures are in place throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project documentation and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage
Minimum of 10 years of experience
managing medium/ large-scale solar projects, with in BESS
Previous experience with grid integration and energy storage systems in renewable energy projects.
Strong knowledge of emerging technologies in BESS and solar PV systems
Preferred Skills
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of BESS and solar PV technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting processes for renewable energy projects.
