Job Description

The Soft Services Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and continuously improving all soft services operations within the private estate and engineering office premises. This role oversees service delivery across cleaning, pest control, waste management, landscaping, reception, and office support services, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. The Soft Services Manager provides strategic and operational leadership, manages teams and service providers, and ensures all activities align with health, safety, hygiene, and organizational standards.

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



Certification in Facilities Management, Hospitality, or Housekeeping is preferred. Professional training in soft services management, health & hygiene standards. HSE awareness or related safety certification is desirable. UAE driving license is beneficial. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in soft services or facilities management, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role. Proven experience managing soft services operations within corporate or engineering office environments, preferably in the UAE. Strong background in managing service providers, contracts, and in-house teams. Demonstrated experience in operational planning, service optimization, and stakeholder management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Soft Services Operations Management



Strong understanding of cleaning systems, schedules, equipment, and chemical usage. Working knowledge of pest control programs, landscaping maintenance, and waste management processes. Ability to manage multiple service lines while ensuring consistency and service excellence.

Leadership & Team Management



Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop soft services teams and supervisors. Experience in manpower planning, performance management, training, and disciplinary processes. Accountable for service delivery, team productivity, and operational continuity.

Health, Safety & Hygiene Compliance



In-depth knowledge of UAE hygiene, sanitation, and occupational health regulations. Strong understanding of chemical safety, PPE usage, COSHH principles, and infection control. Proactive in risk assessment, incident prevention, and compliance enforcement.

Quality Control & Performance Monitoring



Skilled in implementing inspection regimes, service audits, and KPI tracking. Ability to identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in cost control and service efficiency optimization.

Communication & Stakeholder Management



Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Hindi/Urdu is an advantage). Confident in liaising with internal departments, senior stakeholders, and external vendors. Capable of managing escalations and maintaining professional service relationships.

Administrative & Systems Knowledge



Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting, scheduling, and documentation. Experience with CAFM, helpdesk, or ticketing systems is a strong advantage.
