Site Foreman - Steel Work, Formwork & Shuttering (Concrete Reinforcement)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced
Site Foreman
to supervise and manage
steel reinforcement, formwork, and shuttering works
at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth site operations, maintain quality standards, and lead a team of workers to complete civil construction projects safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate steel reinforcement, formwork, and shuttering activities at the site.
Plan daily work schedules, allocate tasks, and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
Inspect and ensure the quality of work, proper installation of steel reinforcements, formwork, and shuttering systems.
Monitor workforce productivity and enforce safety standards at all times.
Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders for timely project completion.
Prepare daily progress reports and update the site engineer/project manager.
Ensure proper usage of materials and prevent wastage.
Maintain discipline, resolve site-related issues, and motivate the team for high performance.
Requirements:
Minimum
2 years of experience
as a foreman in
steel work, formwork, and shuttering
for civil building construction projects.
UAE Driving License Required.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, steel fixing, concrete reinforcement techniques, formwork systems, and shuttering practices.
Proven ability to lead and supervise teams of skilled workers and labourers.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Sound knowledge of site safety procedures and quality standards.
