Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to supervise and coordinate construction activities at our project sites in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and effectively problem-solving on-site.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily construction operations at the site, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
Supervise and lead construction crews, providing clear instructions, guidance, and support to maximize productivity.
Interpret and implement project plans, specifications, and method statements accurately.
Allocate general and daily responsibilities to the site team and subcontractors.
Monitor the attendance and performance of the crew, addressing any issues promptly.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
Identify potential hazards and implement necessary safety measures to maintain a safe working environment in accordance with local regulations.
Ensure that all workers use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
Monitor the use of machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working order and used correctly.
Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials on-site, ensuring proper handling and preventing damage or delays.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, labor hours, materials used, and equipment on-site.
Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project progress, address issues, and ensure seamless coordination.
Resolve on-site conflicts and challenges efficiently to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Assist in the training and mentoring of new workers, fostering a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications.
Report progress, potential delays, and any incidents to the project management team.
Ensure the site is kept clean and organized.
Requirements:

Proven experience of [Specify number, e.g., 5+] years as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry in Dubai.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices relevant to the Dubai context.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications with precision.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse workforce.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in Dubai, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address on-site issues promptly and effectively.
Good organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions, as required on construction sites in Dubai.
