The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations at interior fit-out project sites. This includes supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with design specifications, maintaining safety standards, managing materials, and delivering high-quality finishes on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
Supervise and coordinate all on-site fit-out and interior works including civil, MEP, carpentry, and finishes.
Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
Monitor and report project progress, challenges, and risks to the Project Manager.
Quality & Compliance:
Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and health & safety practices.
Conduct inspections and ensure all works meet design and quality expectations.
Coordination:
Liaise with consultants, designers, and subcontractors for timely resolution of issues.
Coordinate delivery and installation of materials and furnishings.
Ensure effective communication between the office and site teams.
Site Documentation:
Maintain daily site reports, logs, and photo documentation.
Prepare and update project schedules, snag lists, and progress reports.
Problem-Solving:
Proactively resolve site issues to prevent project delays.
Suggest improvements in execution and site processes.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience(UAE) in site supervision for interior fit-out projects handling Hospitality and Commercial projects
Skills:
Strong understanding of fit-out works, finishes, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Familiar with project management tools and MS Office.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
Health & Safety (HSE) certification, PMP (a plus)
