Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Electrical Site Engineer

with 3-4 years of experience in the UAE construction industry. The role involves supervising and coordinating electrical works on site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, project schedules, and HSE requirements. Experience in

interior fit-out

projects (commercial, hospitality, corporate offices, or retail) will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute onsite

electrical installation works

including lighting, power distribution, containment, cabling, earthing, and low-current systems. Review design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements. Coordinate with

architectural, mechanical, civil, and ID teams

to achieve seamless installation and avoid clashes. Conduct

site inspections

, monitor progress, and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and standards. Prepare

daily site reports

, progress documentation, and update work logs. Ensure adherence to

UAE authorities' regulations

(e.g., DEWA, ADDC, DCD, Etisalat, DU) and manage relevant inspections and approvals. Support the preparation of

as-built drawings

and handover documentation. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks. Enforce

safety standards

and participate in HSE audits/toolbox talks on site.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in

Electrical Engineering

.

3-4 years of site engineering experience in the UAE

(mandatory). Interior fit-out project experience

preferred

. Strong working knowledge of

DEWA / ADDC regulations and inspection procedures

. Proficiency in reviewing

shop drawings and technical documentation

. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills. Familiarity with

AutoCAD

; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in

commercial interior projects

(offices and retail). Strong problem-solving and onsite decision-making ability. Proactive attitude with a focus on quality and safety.
