Job Description

We are looking for a competent

Mechanical Site Engineer

with 3-4 years of UAE experience to oversee and execute mechanical works at site. The role involves managing HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems and ensuring they are installed in accordance with project specifications, authority regulations, and quality standards.

Interior fit-out project experience

(offices, retail, hospitality, corporate spaces) will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute site installation works for

HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and mechanical services

. Review design drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications. Coordinate closely with

electrical, civil, architectural, and ID teams

for proper MEP integration within interior spaces. Conduct

site inspections

, monitor progress, and ensure work quality aligns with approved standards. Prepare and maintain

daily site progress reports

, inspection requests, and documentation. Ensure compliance with

UAE local authority regulations

(e.g., DCD, DM, ADDC, etc.) and assist in arranging inspections and approvals. Identify and resolve technical or coordination issues at site, escalating where necessary. Support in preparation of

as-built drawings

, O&M manuals, and handover documentation. Monitor and enforce

HSE practices

and ensure safe working procedures are followed on site.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

.

3-4 years of site-based experience in the UAE

(mandatory).

Interior fit-out MEP experience preferred

. Strong understanding of

HVAC, plumbing & firefighting systems

, installation methods, and coordination requirements. Familiarity with

UAE codes and authority standards

. Ability to interpret technical drawings and resolve on-site issues efficiently. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.

Preferred Characteristics

Experience in

commercial interior projects

(offices and hospitality). Strong organizational and documentation abilities. Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and timelines.
