Job Description
Site Engineer Role Responsibilities:
Contract length: 24 months Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month Ability to Commute/Relocate:
- Coordinate and supervise the construction, installation, and commissioning of interior design projects
- Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards
- Communicate with the design team to interpret plans and ensure that the work is in accordance with the design specifications
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure that all materials and equipment are on site and ready for installation
- Monitor progress and ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget
- Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and other costs
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that all work meets the required standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process
- Daily management of the site, including control and supervision of subcontractors and the site\'s labor force
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for workers and subcontractors on the site
- Work with and alongside architects, supervisors, and subcontractors as a member of the site management team
- Verify the accuracy of computations in plans, drawings, and amounts
- Plan the work and organize the site facilities efficiently in order to meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Supervise quality control and health and safety issues on the job site
- Ensure that all tools and work are used in accordance with instructions
- Control the material selection and requisition process
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and other project team members
- Prepare reports as required
- Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a site engineering role
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Valid driver\'s license
