Job Description
Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to create detailed drawings and plans for interior design projects
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of design plans
- Generate detailed floor plans, elevations, and section drawings
- Communicate with clients to gather information and incorporate their feedback into design plans
- Work with the design team to ensure that all design plans meet building codes and regulations
- Assist with material selection and specification
- Prepare Bill of Quantities and Specifications based on plans
- Make all drawings for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Submission & Approvals with minimum supervision
- Design and Create solutions (Sketches, Plans & Specifications)
- Demonstrate creative skills in designing interior space and producing 2D and 3D designs
- Have full knowledge of producing a full set of drawings in CAD along with shop drawings & detailing
- Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques to improve design processes
- Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree in related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a drafting or design role
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp) and 3D modeling software (e.g. 3D Max, Vray)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Passion for interior design and creativity in design solutions
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
