We are seeking a responsible and customer-oriented shopkeeper to manage daily operations in our stationery store. The ideal candidate will handle sales, maintain inventory, assist customers, and ensure a clean and welcoming store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system
Maintain proper stock levels and manage inventory
Order new stationery supplies from suppliers as needed
Display and arrange stationery products attractively
Keep the shop clean, organized, and presentable
Provide product recommendations and information to customers
Monitor product expiry dates (if relevant, e.g., inks, glues)
Handle customer complaints or returns politely
Prepare daily sales reports and cash tallies
Follow store safety and security procedures
Requirements:
Previous retail or shopkeeping experience preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math and accounting skills
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Attention to detail and organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

2500-3000
