Shipping And Customs Coordinator
Job Description
Main responsibilities: Execute all tasks as per requirement of the logistics and operations department. Handle all shipment clearance and documentation Handle the entire job requirements for Import and Export Shipments. Liaise with UAE Customs & Port Authorities. Liaise with carriers and shipping agents as per the requirements. Handles documents delivery and collection. Issuing the correct documents on behalf of the customer to ensure that customs are cleared in a timely and efficient manner allowing shipments to continue their journey. Liaise with all customers, suppliers, government agencies, freight forwarders, importers, exporters, etc. as required to prepare and process custom clearances. Requirements: Logistics and Shipping Knowledge, minimum 3 years UAE experience. Good English - Communication & Correspondence. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Well versed in Customs Documentation / Clearances through E-MIRSAL. Expected to have and continue to build a good understanding of all relevant customs related laws, import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements and all other customs related matters.
