Job Description
Overview of the role:
To perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostic services on equipment and vehicles in line with company standards, ensuring reliability, safety, and peak performance. The Service Technician plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency by delivering top-quality technical service while maintaining strict compliance with safety and quality procedures.
What you will do:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on all BYD vehicles.
- Complete and maintain check sheets and detailed vehicle write-ups on repair orders.
- Identify and report any additional work required after completing the EVHC.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and technology to perform basic checks and electronic inspections.
- Ensure zero repeat repairs through accurate troubleshooting and quality workmanship.
- Strive for exceptional customer satisfaction and advocacy.
- Achieve productivity and efficiency targets as assigned.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all scheduled work is completed within the specified time.
- Demonstrate punctuality and discipline in every task.
- Handle all special tools and equipment responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Uphold all Health & Safety standards and ensure safe working practices are consistently followed.
