Job Summary:
The Service Desk Associate provides administrative and technical support for internal users and clients. The role involves managing service requests, tracking progress, and coordinating issue resolution with relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and log service requests through the company's communication channels.
Provide first-level support and basic troubleshooting.
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate technical or operational team.
Maintain service records and update request status accurately.
Follow standard procedures for response and resolution timelines.
Assist with documentation and reporting related to service desk activities.
Support the implementation of service desk policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Prior experience in customer service or administrative support is preferred.
Basic understanding of IT systems or industrial operations is an advantage.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
