Help TA Manager with the screening process, interview arrangements and at the same time manage the onboarding volume of new hires
Role and Responsibilities
Source and review applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and Workday
Prepare and issue offer letters as well as contracts for new hires and proofread them before the TA Manager\xe2\x80\x99s final review
Launch and monitor status of reference checks in the system, follow up with Shared Services as needed if there are questions or delays to ensure the final phases of the process are progressing
Liaise with the Visa team as well as outsourcing agencies on new hires\xe2\x80\x99 work permit status and date of joining confirmation
Assist in job postings on the careers sites
Schedule complex interviews while providing an excellent candidate experience. Interview arrangements include phone, video calls and physical interviews
Prioritize incoming and ad-hoc requests against current workload
Ensure prompt and professional communication with all stakeholders including hiring managers and candidates throughout the process
Be and ambassador in the candidate experience and a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the entire recruitment process and guide them through the onboarding formalities
Welcome and escort candidates for physical interviews, when applicable
Manage ad-hoc issues such as scheduling conflicts, delays, and interviewers no shows
Attend and participate in screening interviews when applicable
Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
Provide follow-up correspondence to hiring managers on their new hire status via phone and email
Track recruiting activities and provide candidate status in a Weekly/Monthly report
Coordinate the post-interview debrief meetings
Attend interviews with TA Manager when applicable
Identify opportunities for improving the candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
Send out new hires announcement
Process agency fee invoices in coordination with Finance
Create and maintain candidate pipelines and help ensure that all candidates have a point of contact
Liaise with Shared Services to create new hires\xe2\x80\x99 employee ID
Help TA Manager in applying best TA practices within Samsung Gulf Electronics
Skills and Qualifications
Requirements
Minimum 2 to 5 years of supporting fast-paced Talent Acquisition functions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in applicant tracking systems
Experience in sourcing profiles for technical roles
Strong time management skills
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant discipline (HR, Business Admin or equivalent)
Proven ability to prioritize/ multitask in a rapidly changing work environment and handle multiple tasks at once; strong attention to detail is a must
Ability to identify solutions independently and make sound decisions
Ability to work successfully and professionally with all levels of employees and management in a professional manner
Proven ability to take initiative and build positive and productive professional relationships
Responsive, collaborative, and takes initiative to assist others
Exceptional organization skills and the ability to handle a multitude of assignments and details simultaneously
