About the Job:
Monitors and advises to ensure that ADNOC Distribution\xe2\x80\x99s operations and practices are in line with the approved HS&E policies, procedures, management system, corporate safety, fire prevention, occupational health and environment protection policies, guidelines and code of practices (COP) and confirms compliance, accordingly. Provides professional advice on HSE regulations and legal requirements to all company locations to support the proper required compliance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Support the company\xe2\x80\x99s operations by providing expert support and advice to all levels of the organization on Health, Safety and Environmental matters
Conduct HSE compliance activities focusing on the company\xe2\x80\x99s legal & health safety & environmental aspects and contractors, so that all operations are in accordance with Federal and Local legislation, ADNOC CoPs, best industrial practice, and company policies and procedures Audit HSE processes to maintain the HSE management system in support of the company\xe2\x80\x99s HSE Management System (HSEMS)
Identify means to improve HSE performance and advise management on annual key performance indicators. Maintain and update company\xe2\x80\x99s HSE Legal Register
Ensure suitability of incident investigations Follows Incident/Accident recommendations and action plans. Participates in major accident/incident investigations and develop reports highlighting contributory causes and recommendations to avoid recurrences.
Develop, maintain and lead the implementation of an audit schedule for verification of company\xe2\x80\x99s HSE.
Participate in preparation of Company\xe2\x80\x99s HSE Programs including HSE & Process Safety Assurance Program, Marketing Plans, Service Level Agreements etc. Review proposed or key legislation which could impact the company and advice on actions required for compliance Participate in HSEIA sessions and risk assessments, as required.
Coordinates and supervises HSE Risk Assessments, Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), HSE Impact Assessment (HSEIA) in line with requirements of corporate COPs.
Maintain the HSE Action Tracking system coordinate with relevant functions to timely close out of the actions.
Performs training need assessment for company and contractor employees, develops training program including the training modules and conducts training as required.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelors in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent
10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in safety matters preferably in petrochemical or oil/gas industry. Adequate Experience in Development & Implementation of HSE Management System, experienced in conducting HSE Assessments including HAZOP, HSEIA, QRA, JSA etc Experienced in developing HSE Training Modules & Conducting Training
PC user, able to apply the required system
Holder of valid UAE Driving License
Comfortable in use of Computer applications
Good English (writing and reading) / Knowledge of Arabic is preferable
Professional Certifications (Preferable): Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 14001, & ISO 45001 - NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or CSP
