Purpose The Senior Specialist, Billing Support oversees and manages contract configurations across various customers and markets ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong billing system reliability in terms of complex contract configurations across all IHS markets. The scope of responsibility covers all IHS Towers current and future markets, and users using the company\xe2\x80\x99s centralised billing system. This role requires deep level of understanding to contracts with high level of complexity and very detailed contractual terms within the telecommunications field. - Timely and accurate logging, assessment, design, and implementation of all configuration requests as per team\xe2\x80\x99s own process.
- First point of contact for all end user queries on contract and pricing implementation
- Support with resolving defects and incidents that may impact or be due to configuration.
- Produce requirements, design changes and support with UAT testing of new functionality as required because of billing configuration requests.
- Manage small one-off internal projects using the team\xe2\x80\x99s project approach.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the senior manager, group billing.
- Ability to travel as required to other IHS offices and work out of hours if needed for maintenance and incident resolution.
- Support any testing and assisting users to produce invoices for new and updated contracts.
- Produce documentation on complex configurations.
- Delivering on-site and remote training on billing operation of complex configuration
- Become a subject matter expert in your role and a key resource for other team members.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, and/ or Information Technology. Experience:

Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, and/ or Information Technology. Experience:
- Minimum of 5 - 7 Years working experience, preferably in a Telecommunication and IT solutions industry.
- 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience providing end user support for bespoke of highly configured application(s) or configuring similar applications. Ideally business-to-business billing systems or similar.
- Experience of using finance and/or billing applications.
- Experience of delivering support and communicating virtually, ideally in a global setting.
- Experience of user interface design, usability, or user experience (UX) design techniques.
- Experience creating user guides and training materials.
- PMP certification would be an asset.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
- Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Proficient in communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail oriented with multi-tasking abilities and high standards for accuracy.
- Familiar with financial regulations and compliance requirements related to billing.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and energetic team player.
- Ability to analyze data or complex problems and suggest solutions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient use of Excel
