Senior Operations Applications Support Specialist

Job Purpose

Monitor and control all aspect of the Nawah operations technology systems implementation including analysis of work processes and operational gaps. Coordinate in maintaining business solutions and improvements to ensure continues support to business Objectives. Research and analyze daily issues and coordinate the resolution. Design and create new ideas and solutions as mandated by the business users.
Activity:
Business Partner Collaboration
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Facilitate the all aspect of the Nawah operation system implementation including, but not limited to identifying core business application solution requirements, establishing solution objectives , evaluating application functionality, measuring the solution impact, creating test plans and scripts and conducting integration testing to ensure operation application running according to service level agreement with business.
  • Identify and assess application requirement gaps and operation application issues and risks to business units and current technology within operation technology to maintain application access level.
  • Works with business partners within one or more business organizations to align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Support one or more highly complex business operation application processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business.
  • Improve and deepen relationship between Nawah OT and business partners in order to establish strong and effective partnership that contributes to the achievement of OT objectives.

Core Applications Designs and Solutions
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Design core business application solutions by identifying and evaluating options to establish core applications of a high quality standards corresponding to business requirements.
  • Prepare functional specifications for core business applications to resolve issues and overcome challenges.
  • Serve as a bridge between the business and the project team to create and deliver related user documentation and end-user training.
  • Investigate problems, develop recommendations and secure the necessary technical assistance to resolve incidents thus implement the best fit solutions.
  • Identify the need for technical assistance to help in problem resolution and resolve incidents.
  • Provide recommendations for business process redesign and documentation to align with technology best practices.

Client Engagement
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and communicate business requirements for the design and implementation of core business solutions.
  • Lead the assessment of client needs utilizing a structured requirements process such as gathering, analysing, documenting, and managing changes to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks, and cost vs.benefits.
  • Analyse client operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvements.
  • Keeps clients informed of problems, issues, and resolutions in relation to Core Applications in order to manage client\'s expectations and ensures IT solutions related to core applications meet client needs.
  • Monitor and analyze core applications performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction.

Operations Technology Strategic Planning
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Conduct data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements related to core applications.
  • Lead the short- and long-term planning sessions to ensure understanding of business goals and direction.
  • Provide input from a business and information technology perspective to align with the Enterprise strategy.
  • Generate appropriate communication, process and educational plans and identifies obstacles to change to mitigating the disruption of during the change process.

Operation Application Business Case
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Conducts feasibility studies of new requirement or changes from business related to operation application technology and draft proposals and technical evaluation.
  • Develop and present business case in order to clarify all aspects related to core applications software, hardware and services requirements.

Operation Application Testing
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Develop user test cases and system integration testing and verify test results during testing for core applications to ensure fulfilment of business requirements as appropriate.
  • Review test plans and execute test cases to ensure that conducted tests are solid and sufficient to reveal any potential gaps and ensure that core application functionalities are as required.
  • Monitor core applications\' testing process to ensure that business results achieved with minimal risk.
  • Implement test strategies involving appropriate integration and process components to avoid any regression across the system landscape.

Minimum
N/A

Preferred
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
Minimum
  • Bachelors degree in information Technology, Management Information System, Engineering Management, or similar.
  • 5 years of related experience.

Or equivalent as stated in the Procedure (HR-PRC-0004).

Preferred
  • Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field.
  • 7 or more years of relevant technical and business work experience.
