Role overview To work alongside the R&D team and help scale our recipes while maintaining the flavor and high-quality standards along with providing training to the kitchen team. The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers\xe2\x80\x99 satisfaction. Main Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and scaling new recipes while ensuring that the flavor and quality standards are maintained
- Train the kitchen team to prepare new recipes
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Must be able to clearly communicate tasks to team members
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Must have had previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef
- Must have 8 years of experience within the hospitality and catering industry
- Must be a proficient communicator in English
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is a plus
- Has had team leading experiences and would be able to train the kitchen team
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
- Create and maintain an efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment
- Display good work ethic, resourcefulness, and organization
- Must be able to work under pressure and manage time accordingly
- Ensure quality control and efficient workflow
- Strong time-management skills
- Strong communicator
- Pleasant personality and able to lead with empathy
