You will be working as Senior Service Engineer, will be part of Motion Business Area for Service division based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role you will be responsible for performing medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines, delivering customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB team, take actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB.

Your responsibilities
Ensuring customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation in safe manner, creating and maintaining a good relationship with customers and understanding their needs
Identifying new sales opportunities and convincing the client for the complete service portfolio.
Attending jobs with complete preparedness, with a professional approach and ensuring completeness of the job, following the factory recommended procedures.
Maintaining service tools and instruments of service engineers and ensuring tools are calibrated.
Providing technical support to customer during emergencies and site visits as and when required
preparing all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative.
Ensuring the reports are uploaded in DIB/ MoR and parts returned to factory and cases are closed on time and follow ups when needed.
Proactively identifying suggestions for product quality and customer service improvement and discuss-ing them with management for changes, strong self-discipline with initiative and learning spirit with positive attitude, teamwork and responsibility
Actively ensuring that the Health & Safety (HSE) practices are of high standard, working to eliminate.
unsafe and incidents, performing mandatory JHA/ Risk assessment on very site following LOTO, PPE
requirement, reporting near misses and hazards
Following PTW requirements on each site, strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines, having strong knowledge and hands-on experience on LV & MV VFD (e.g., ACS800/880/ACS580 and ACS 580 1000/2000/5000/6000) commissioning and service.
Your background
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering
More than 6 years of hands-on service experience on variable frequency drives (VFDs)
Strong electrical or electronics engineering fundamental knowledge, knowledge on theory, structure, and application, testing ABB VFD experience, product certifications and fault diagnosis/analysis will have added advantage.
Effective spoken and written communication in English and Arabic
Basic computer application knowledge for job reporting and communication with MS Office and other common application software.
