Job Description
Job Title: Senior Sales Mechanical Engineer We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Mechanical Engineer to join the sales team. The Sales Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of our mechanical engineering products and solutions by establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, providing technical expertise, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with potential clients, including manufacturers, contractors, and engineering firms, to generate leads and close sales.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on our mechanical engineering products and solutions, including specifications, features, benefits, and applications.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to clients, showcasing the value and capabilities of our products and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to ensure the timely delivery of products, resolve technical issues, and meet customer needs.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to network, promote our products, and generate leads.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, technologies, and competitors to effectively position and differentiate our offerings in the market.
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sales follow-up, to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in mechanical engineering or related industries.
- Strong technical background and understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, principles, and applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Knowledge of sales techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for tracking and managing sales activities.
- Availability for occasional travel to client sites, industry events, and trade shows.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Sales Mechanical Engineer: 3 years (Preferred)
- Must have UAE Driving License
