We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at our garden center in Dubai. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Junior Sales Managers to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Junior Sales Managers to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase sales revenue, customer acquisition, and retention.
Performance Management:
Monitor and analyze sales performance, provide feedback, and coaching to Junior Sales Managers to improve their skills and performance.
Customer Service:
Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, respond to customer complaints, and resolve issues promptly.
Product Knowledge:
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, including plants, gardening supplies, and outdoor living products.
Visual Merchandising:
Work with the visual merchandising team to create an appealing and engaging store environment that drives sales.
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular sales reports, analysis, and insights to senior management to inform business decisions.
Training and Development:
Develop and deliver training programs to Junior Sales Managers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with senior management to develop sales budgets and forecasts.
Sales Targets:
Sales Revenue:
Achieve sales revenue targets, which will be set and reviewed regularly.
Customer Acquisition:
Increase customer acquisition and retention.
Customer Satisfaction:
Improve customer satisfaction ratings.
Performance Metrics:
Sales Growth:
Achieve a minimum of 10% sales growth within the first 6 months.
Customer Satisfaction:
Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 90% or higher.
Team Performance:
Achieve a team performance rating of 90% or higher.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Horticulture, or a related field.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in a garden center or retail environment, with a proven track record of success in managing a sales team and achieving sales targets.
Skills:
Proven track record of success in sales management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales targets.
Experience with sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
Strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of horticulture and gardening products.
Certifications:
Sales certifications are an asset.
