Position Overview
As a Senior Rust Engineer, you will work closely with AI researchers to identify, test, and configure open-source codebases, ensuring they align with LLM training goals. This role demands strong Rust expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage real-world software environments.
What You'll Do

• Analyze GitHub issues and identify relevant open-source repositories for testing.
• Set up development environments using Docker and similar tools.
• Evaluate code quality and unit test coverage for selected projects.
• Modify and execute repositories to validate LLM bug-fix performance.
• Partner with researchers to define and select repositories for experiments.
• Optionally lead junior engineers and provide guidance on technical tasks.

Ideal Profile

• 3-4+ years of professional Rust programming experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong debugging skills with experience in running complex codebases locally.
• Familiarity with GitHub workflows and issue triaging processes.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
