ABOUT THE FUNCTION

This function is to co-ordinate the Rally Program operations and finances, to be first point of contact for both Yacht Clubs and to ensure that the Members are assisted with any Membership requirements and complaints. Maintains an exceptional level of customer service and relations to marina customers and boat owners, to improve department profitability and efficiency. Taking a pro-active role in the planning & execution and follow up of the marina\'s rally and events.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Marina Management Experience: A minimum of 3 years at a management level in a marina-related administrative role.
• Client Account Management: Proficiency in managing accounts of high-net-worth individuals.
• Financial Expertise: A strong understanding of financial processes, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements, along with experience in handling cash, bank transfer & cheque transactions.
• Organizational Skills: Competence in organizing, sorting, and maintaining a customer database efficiently.
• Customer Service: A strong basis in hospitality, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
• Marina Industry Network: Must have a well-established network knowledge within the marina industry.
• Leadership: Experience leading a team of at least 10, that includes both administrative and front office teams.
• Negotiation Skills: Demonstrates the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Complaint Resolution: Capable of addressing and resolving member complaints adeptly.
• Reporting: Must be on time and punctual in the submission of financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Decision-Making: The ability to make informed decisions and adopt a proactive approach.
• Revenue Generation: Skill in planning strategies to enhance revenue and continuously assessing market competition.
• Language Proficiency: Knowledge of additional languages, particularly Arabic or French, will be considered an advantage.

Technical Proficiencies:

• Familiarity with software such as Pacsoft, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and ERP systems.

Educational and Certification Requirements:

• A Bachelor\'s degree or higher.
• Certification as an IMM or AMM from The Yacht Harbor Association is required.
