Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS | RTA Approved | Consultancy Background)

We are seeking a

qualified MRICS Quantity Surveyor

, approved by the

RTA (Roads and Transport Authority)

, with a strong

consultancy background

and proven experience in

building and infrastructure projects

. The candidate will be responsible for

cost management

,

contract administration

, and

commercial leadership

across complex infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and manage

cost plans, budgets, and estimates

at all project stages Perform

BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

preparation and review using POMI, CESMM, or NRM Lead

tendering and procurement

process (pre-contract stage) Evaluate

contractor payment applications

,

variations

, and

claims

Conduct

cost control

, forecasting, and value engineering Handle

contractual correspondence

, change management, and dispute resolution Interface with

clients, consultants, and contractors

professionally Ensure compliance with

RTA standards

, policies, and procedures Provide

monthly cost reports

and commercial updates to stakeholders Support the

Project Manager/Commercial Manager

in contract administration

Requirements:



MRICS certified

(essential)

RTA-approved QS

(with valid approval or previously worked on RTA projects) Bachelor's or Master's in

Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering

Minimum

7-10 years

of QS experience, with a strong consultancy background Experience in

large-scale building and infrastructure

projects (e.g., highways, metro, airports, etc.) Proficient in

FIDIC Contracts

and contract administration Strong in

Excel

,

CostX

,

CANDY

, or other QS software Excellent

communication

, report writing, and negotiation skills Knowledge of

local construction laws and regulations

(especially UAE if applicable)

Preferred Location Experience:



Middle East (especially UAE, Qatar, or Saudi Arabia) With specific focus on

RTA (Dubai)

projects or similar authorities
