We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor MRICS (Post-contract) to be based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates . Primarily focusing on Cost Control & Valuation, Contract Administration, and Final Account & Reporting of the project. Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS) is highly preferred. Proven experience on major infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, transport, and telecommunications. Strong background in cost management, contract administration, and tendering, ideally within consultancy, construction, or real estate environments. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail. Proficient in cost-estimating software and related tools. Experience working in both contracting and/or consultancy settings. Key Responsibilities: Assess and certify interim payment applications in accordance with contract terms and project progress. Implement a structured change management process, including the evaluation and recommendation of variation orders, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and maintaining a client-aligned review cadence. Produce periodic cost reports detailing construction costs, professional fees, client-direct procurement, contingency allowances, risk exposures, and early warnings. Support the development and maintenance of the project risk register, providing cost input for risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies. Prepare and present periodic cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgetary constraints, and submit them for senior management review. Lead the negotiation and agreement of final accounts, ensuring closure of contractual obligations with all relevant parties. Provide strategic cost advice to the client on an ad hoc basis, including value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures.
