VX Studio Consultancy is looking for a highly skilled
Senior Quantity Surveyor
with a solid consultancy background and proven experience in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and commercial functions of projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
Evaluate and certify contractor payments and variations.
Track project costs and budgets to ensure alignment with financial targets.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and validate claims.
Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
Prepare final accounts and ensure timely project closure.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide cost-related support.
Ensure all documentation and commercial processes comply with contract and legal requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum of
5 years' experience
as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Strong experience in
high-rise building projects
is mandatory.
Previous work experience in a
consultancy firm
is highly preferred.
Thorough understanding of cost management, contracts, and procurement strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is an advantage.
Preferred Background:
Candidates with UAE consultancy experience will be prioritized.
Knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes.
