EMPLOYEE JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Senior QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Responsible to : Commercial Manager

Responsible for : Junior QS

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the team of estimators in building quotes and tender documents/packages.

2. Ensure timely submissions of tenders with close coordination with sales and design team.

3. Tendering based on tender/project documents provided by Commercial Manager.

4. Preparation of detailed SOW, BOQ and rate analysis based on design, drawing and site survey.

5. Identify suitable vendors and float enquiries, prepare pre-qualified vendor database in consultation with the project team and participate in vendor selection meetings and confirm considerations with the procurement & project team.

6. Preparing budgetary cost advise for all work elements of the project.

7. Prepare Cost/time impacts and claims.

8. Responsible for costing of variations to design.

9. Prepare interim valuations for accounts receivables and payables.

10. Responsible for monitoring of project requisitions and costing.

11. Responsible for evaluating Sub-contract variations.

12. Responsible for Sub-contractors interim payments.

13. Knowledge of cash flow analysis and alignment of forecast with the project program of works.

14. Prepares contractual correspondence as per the local construction laws.

15. Responsible for monthly cost-value analysis/reconciliation.

16. Responsible for final account of the project.

17. Ensure that estimation/quantity surveying activities are compliant with internal policies and external/industry regulations; including professional ethics and code of conduct.

18. Always align work ethics to company objectives and continuously seek improvement towards work responsibilities.

19. Participates in company HR programs in staff engagement, talent development and other initiatives to improve performance and professionalism at work.
