Senior Quantity Surveyor (civil)

Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil) to lead the commercial and contractual aspects of our civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge in cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and project financial control, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for civil projects. Manage and control project costs through all project phases. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Measure and value work done on-site, including progress claims and variations. Maintain up-to-date project records and documentation. Provide strategic advice on cost management and procurement strategies. Support project managers with financial reporting and risk assessment. Ensure compliance with relevant contractual and legal standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, with a strong civil project background in GCC and preferably in Qatar, Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and cost estimating software Must have a valid UPDA certificate.
