Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
Place purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand.
Analyze market trends and identify potential risks or opportunities in the supply chain.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Conduct supplier performance reviews and audits.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Resolve supplier issues and discrepancies related to quality, delivery, and invoicing.
Assist in developing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
Prepare and present purchasing reports to management.
Mentor and support junior purchasing staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with contract management and supplier performance evaluation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
