Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Project Manager - MEP / Electrical Engineer

with a minimum of

5 years' experience in high-rise tower construction projects in Dubai

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works with a focus on electrical systems, ensuring project execution aligns with local regulations, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:Project Management & Execution:

Oversee all

MEP activities

on-site with a primary focus on

electrical systems

(HV/LV, lighting, BMS, fire alarm, etc.). Ensure proper planning, coordination, and execution of MEP works in high-rise building projects. Review MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals for accuracy and compliance. Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery. Coordinate with civil, architectural, and structural teams to resolve conflicts and interface issues.

Technical & Compliance:

Ensure that all electrical works conform to

Dubai Municipality

,

DEWA

,

DMCC

, and

regulations. Conduct inspections and testing (e.g., FAT, SAT, commissioning) to verify compliance with specifications and codes. Prepare and monitor

project schedules, material submittals

, and

progress reports

. Manage procurement of electrical materials and ensure delivery within project timelines.

Quality, Safety & Documentation:

Implement and enforce

HSE procedures

on site in coordination with the Safety Officer. Conduct quality control inspections and ensure snag-free handovers. Maintain accurate documentation, including as-built drawings, inspection logs, and testing reports. Attend client, consultant, and authority meetings and provide regular project updates.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or MEP Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience

in

high-rise tower construction

, particularly in

Dubai

. Strong understanding of

DEWA approvals, load schedules, LV/MV design

, and

site execution

. Proven experience in managing

full MEP works

, with a focus on

electrical installation, testing & commissioning

. Proficient in

AutoCAD

,

MS Project

,

Primavera

, and MEP coordination tools. Knowledge of

local codes

,

regulations

, and

international standards

(BS, IEC, NFPA). Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus. Experience with

green building practices
