A Senior Program Manager typically manages a team of 10+ Field Service Engineers, who own the overall technical relationships with our airline customers. Leading the team includes developing and communicating team priorities, driving operational rigor to drive the right metrics and outcomes, staffing, development and performance management, strategic organizational planning and supporting issue resolution when appropriate. The Field Service organization directly impacts Effective Customer Service.



Roles and Responsibilities

• People leader with senior and lead professional direct reports. Has the ability to attract and retain talent. Manages medium to large team, that may include roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership . Influences policy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.
• Support of installed base including activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, monitoring & diagnostics, fleet configuration, maintenance of fleet data, outage management.
• All activities relating to enhancing services technology integrating customer data, or capturing engines/products reliability, availability, maintenance, safety and other performance parameters.
• High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes.
• Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
• Leads others to find creative solutions within complex operational processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Employs sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques.
• Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business or technical discipline solutions to leaders.
• Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view.
• Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

Required Qualifications

• For roles outside of the USA - This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Fleet Management domain. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master\'s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Strong technical knowledge on aviation engine products.
