Job Description
Position: Operational Risk Senior Consultant Domain: Consulting Client : Bank Location - Abu Dhabi Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Risk Management. Contract Period - 6 months, extendable to another 6 months Joining - Immediate without notice period. Key Responsibilities:
Contract length: 6 months Salary: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month Application Question(s):
- Assist the CRO in implementation of Operational Risk (Ops risk) Framework within the bank.
- Closely liaise with various departments \xe2\x80\x93 Compliance, finance and IT to ensure smooth and effective implementation of the Ops risk framework.
- Prepare / update Ops risk policy, manuals and setting up of monitoring frameworks for Ops risk.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports including the Ops risk board pack.
- Identify the Process universe (identifying all processes in a bank) by liaising with departments for their submission.
- Update the Risk register of RCSAs by liaising with departments to obtain their proposed RCSAs and evaluate them.
- Need to assist some of the bank\xe2\x80\x99s staff on how to identify process risks or how to do required control testing.
- Update BCP policy including creating Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for different departments and conduct BCP testing including DR drill.
- Update Risk governance and management policy including RAS.
- Prepare MIS on RAS and other items in Risk department to send to Board Risk Committee and prepare Board risk reporting pack.
- Closely work with department heads to identify if any gaps exist in Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Corporate Governance and Risk Management Frameworks.
- Assist the CRO in preparing a road map for remediation of gaps if any identified.
- Keep track on all the planned activities of the risk department and prepare periodic progress status report.
- Create and maintain trackers for periodic updates to RSCA, KRI and control testing activities etc
