JOB PURPOSE:

This role is primarily responsible for executing/processing customer instructions and translating Arabic instructions with high degree of accuracy within the agreed turnaround time. Deliver quality and timely service to internal and external customers in adherence to the policies and procedures.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
  • Ensure efficient error free processing of cash management related transactions with strict compliance to policies within the agreed SLA\'s.
  • Minimise operational risks for the bank by ensuring all transactions are processed in line with the documented standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure there is no regulatory and compliance breaches to UAE Central bank guidelines and other international norms.
  • Display compliance to FAB values and ethics at all times to support value driven culture.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify & address process related inefficiencies & inconsistencies in order to have an efficient work culture.
  • Cross train through job rotation on various cash management products in order to maintain availability of back up.
Reporting
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports pertaining to regulatory authorities to compliance unit.
  • Generate periodical reports and update statistics, enabling to prepare unit\'s MIS.
Job Specific Accountabilities
  • Diligent transaction processing of Cash Management products related to clearing, PDCs, Inward / Outward remittances, Salaries, deposits, loans etc.,
  • Must be a competent Arabic to English translator and should possess good knowledge in Arabic language .
  • Maintain top quality service to Internal and external customers and provide 24X7 services to VVIP clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer Sensitive information at all times.
  • Diligent monitoring of identified internal accounts and provide appropriate documents for monthly proofing in line with ORMU guidelines.
  • Ensure safe custody of documents and customer records by periodic archival of documents.
  • Perform UAT for systems changes / process enhancements / pan bank initiatives in timely and effective manner.
  • Perform BAU related activities for executing transactions received before cut-off, process high value and urgent transactions on priority basis.
  • Provide timely response to queries received from internal & external customers.
  • Perform daily and periodic reconciliations of nostro & internal accounts.
  • Ensure proofing of internal accounts and timely submission of necessary reports to RMU on monthly basis.
  • Follow up pending original customer instructions with relevant teams for all transactions processed on exceptions as per DOA.
  • Contribute in any other additional activity / responsibility based on need.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor\'s Degree / Higher Diploma
Minimum Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience in banking industry
