To be the focal point of all security related matters in the Network Control Center (NCC) providing continuous communication, reporting and decision making between flydubai Operations and flydubai aviation Security Department (FZAVSEC) for all aviation and travel security matters in relation to security incidents and risk management situations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor the daily flydubai operation, identify and mitigate any possible aviation and travel security incidents / trends or scenarios.

• Respond to security incidents according to flydubai AVSEC policies and procedures and make critical decisions in response to security incidents (e.g., disruptive pax, restraints, bomb threats, airspace closures, security delays, security reports, etc.)

• Initiate and provide first response regarding disruptions involving AVSEC leading to AOGs. Review AOG protocols pertinent to the destination, ensure ASVEC crew layover hotels are utilized in case of AOG paying particular attention to High-Risk Destination (HRD).

• Monitor security NOTAMS to identify upcoming risks to operations and navigation over conflict zones

• Maintain an understanding of all national, international, and foreign AVSEC legislation and their amendments/enhancements/changes that may affect flydubai operations in and outside the UAE.

• Contribute towards promoting and maintaining security awareness and culture driven by the flydubai Aviation Security Department (FZAVSEC)

• Act as a focal point for FACT24 by initiating and coordinating members of the Bomb Threat Assessment Group (BTAG Group), in response to an actual and/or threat towards flydubai and/or assets.

• Proactively determine the course of operation and advise pertinent mitigating solutions

• Shall act as the after-hours aviation security representative and be assigned ad-hoc tasks by AVSEC Management that require deliverable business continuity

• Create daily aviation / travel security summary report for all occurrence within the shift generation.

• Deputizes for other team members (when required) to ensure continuity and coverage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent

• IATA Airline Security Accreditation

• Certification or equivalent approval by the appropriate authority or Association e.g. IATA Aviation Security Course

• Preferable - AVSEC PM - Aviation Security Professional Management

Experience Specific Requirements

• Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) \xe2\x80\x93 6

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements (Preferably)

• OSINT, SOCMINT, GEOINT and/or IMINT qualifications

• Tableau or other business analysis tools training or certification

• Training in Intelligence Monitoring and/or Social Media Monitoring Platforms

• Training in imagery and geospatial information and services

• Familiarity with collection tools such as Feedly, Feedbro, IFTTT, TweetDeck, Telegram, alert maps among others.

• Familiarity with Geospatial tools such as Google Earth, Earth Explorer, Sentinel, Landsat.
