MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To implement and deliver best practice in regulations and procedures for all operational facets of the security department and ensure they follow the regulators. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Reports any findings concerning compliance of aviation security. 2. Collects and analyses data, monitors trend and develops mitigating procedures to improve levels of security. 3. Enhances aviation security deploying principles outlines by Security Management System (SeMS). 4. Highlights areas of development by suggesting concepts to improve policies and procedures 5. Assists the AVSEC department in improving procedures through feedback and observations of operations, contribute to new policies, highlighting the regulatory requirements. 6. Conducts observations, tests, and inspections in line with National Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP), AOSP, and IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) International standards and best practices. 7. Collates data from inspections and observations to analyses trends and maintain detailed information on records. 8. Supports the Specialist, Aviation Security and Compliance in implementing new processes, procedures, and projects, work proactively with other departments in joint investigations, prepare data for GCAA and other Regulatory Bodies. 9. Supports the Aviation Security Specialist be ensuring the flydubai AOSP is compliant with all national and international regulatory requirements, including IOSA standards and recommended practices, CAR-OPS and GCAA directives. 10. Assists in daily management of the flydubai EFOS reporting system. Monitor and investigate all Security Reports, monitor EFOS reports, and open investigations as required, collect data, debrief, and make recommendations, prepare statistics for monthly meetings, i.e.: SAG, SMRB 11. Leads cross departmental functions and work in collaboration with operational departments to continuously improve awareness of Aviation Security throughout the organization including, but not limited to; Flight- Operations, In-Flight Services, Crew Training, Quality Assurance. 12. Maintains and verifies the accuracy of all collected information and data.
