We are currently recruiting for Senior Manager - Investment Planning for our client whose office is based in Dubai.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Investment Planning in the following activities: The role will be responsible for managing business case development that sees the translation of our strategic objectives into actionable projects, that contributes to long term portfolio pipeline. The position requires regular communications & collaboration with all levels of the organisation to ensure requirements analysis are captured accurately, that will assist the job holder in forming clear structured scoping of business cases that address predetermined problems from the Strategic Planning and Research teams, ultimately for the Delivery organisation to oversee upon their endorsement for execution.
Job Responsibilities:
Understand in details, strategies in order to contextualise current situation, needs and gaps to be filled Collaboration on the production of time bound scenarios that translates organizations strategic plans and Labs / Units concepts, into measurable and actionable solutions
Support the Strategic Planning and Research Teams to determine the sequencing of problems in consideration of current and future situations, ongoing initiatives and requirements analysis.
Contribute to the production by ensuring the portfolio pipeline is 20 sufficiently and continuously populated with endorsed initiatives that facilitate a centralised portfolio prioritisation model aligned to Organizations strategic objectives
Develop investment proposals that are aligned to Labs / Units objectives as defined in Dubai Airports Strategy documents and Operating Plans
Ensure investment proposals are developed with measurable contribution to Labs / Units metrics
Support the Leadership teams in developing suitable prioritisation models.
Develop Benefit Management Plans, ensuring that the following criteria are explicit: 30
The level of benefits expected (measureable/quantifiable)
The timescale within which the benefits are expected to be realized and when the benefits should be measured
Any range of acceptability of a particular benefit
How the project will plan and help assess whether benefits have been realised
Ensure expected benefits are tied to strategic objectives.
Skills
The job holder will be educated to University Degree level in a relevant field.
Financial professional qualification desired Portfolio/Programme/project management qualification desired Master of Business Administration is an added advantage.

At least 5 years of leadership experience of large programme teams with direct and indirect reports.
At least 3 years of strategic planning experience.
Airport industry experience is an added advantage .
Expertise in Financial Analysis (NPV, IRR, ROI etc).
