Job Description

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute long-term plans for facilities management department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.


Financial Oversight:

Manage and optimize the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness, resource allocation, and financial stewardship to meet business requirements.


Operational Excellence:

Oversee day-to-day facility operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with standards, and a seamless experience for occupants.


Team Leadership and Development:

Manage and lead the facilities management team, fostering a positive work culture, encouraging professional development, and ensuring a cohesive team focused on organizational objectives.


Space Planning and Optimization:

Oversee the space utilization strategy and introduce new opportunities for optimization through implementation of standards.


Assets Management:

Manage the inventory of assets, equipment and materials owned by DP World.


Create and promote the integrated management approach including processes and procedures to support business growth.


Vendor and Contract Management:

Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.


Work with procurement to source the best value and look for opportunities to implement cost savings.


Emergency Preparedness:

Develop and Oversee emergency response plans by coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure a swift and effective response to any facility-related emergencies.


Communication and Reporting:

Provide regular reports, maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, offer insights into facilities' performance and address concerns promptly.


Maintain professional and positive relationships with facility occupants, tenants, and stakeholders.


Cross Departmental Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with end users and other stakeholders, aligning facilities management with broader organizational objectives.


FM Project Management:

Oversee the management and execution of FM projects taking into consideration all technical and commercial aspects.


Sustainability Initiatives:

Promote environmentally friendly practices by implementing initiatives to reduce ecological footprint within the facilities.


Regulatory Compliance:

Stay informed about relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices and ensure facilities consistently adhere to all legal requirements.


Safety Management:

Ensure facilities comply with safety regulations and conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards, prioritizing the well-being of occupants.
