Job Summary:

The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within CITYLAND Mall. The role ensures the efficient and safe operation of all HVAC equipment, contributing to a comfortable and well-maintained environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repair:

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating equipment.

Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, including compressors, fans, motors, and controls.

Respond promptly to tenant and staff requests for HVAC repairs and maintenance.

Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.

Installation:

Install new HVAC systems and equipment according to specifications and building codes.

Assist in the installation of ductwork, piping, and electrical components.

Preventive Maintenance:

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of HVAC equipment.

Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling and disposal.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Prepare reports on HVAC system performance and maintenance activities.

Maintain an accurate log of all work performed.

Tenant and Staff Relations:

Respond to tenant and staff requests in a professional and timely manner.

Communicate effectively with tenants and staff regarding HVAC system issues.

Maintain a professional apperance.

Qualifications:

Technical diploma or certification in HVAC or a related field.

Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as an HVAC Technician, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.

Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid UAE Driver license.
