SENIOR HVAC TECHNICIAN
Job Title: Senior HVAC Technician
Experience Level: Minimum 4-5 years
Reporting To: HVAC Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Senior HVAC Technician is a key technical expert responsible for the installation and setting to work of complex HVAC systems, including VRF and Chillers. This role involves leading installation teams and ensuring technical precision.
Key Responsibilities:

• Complex System Installation: Lead the installation, leveling, and setting of VRF systems and Chiller plants.
• Ducting & Piping Oversight: Oversee and execute complex ducting layouts and refrigerant/water piping for advanced systems.
• System Commissioning Support: Perform pre-commissioning tasks such as system pressure testing, vacuum dehydration, refrigerant charging, and setting system parameters under the supervision of an engineer.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve installation and startup issues related to ducting, piping, and control wiring.
• Team Leadership: Direct and guide a team of HVAC Technicians and helpers, ensuring work is completed efficiently and correctly.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations comply with engineering specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of extensive experience, specifically with VRF systems and Chillers.
• In-depth knowledge of refrigerant cycle, piping practices (brazing, nitrogen purging), and electrical controls.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing a small team.
• Ability to work with complex schematics and technical manuals.
