Job Location: Dubai

Job Summary
Media & Outreach Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies aimed at building awareness about company work among internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent will be the main point of contact for media inquiries and will manage relations with national, regional, and international media outlets. They will also produce communications content (print, digital, photo and video) and plan events and activities to promote company work. They will work closely with Head of Knowledge Management and Communications and provide necessary support for day-to-day communications operations.

Responsibilities:
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fDevelop and implement communications strategies to promote COMPANY\'s work in coordination with the management.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fEnsure timely distribution of information among internal and external stakeholders.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fManage relations with national, regional, and international media outlets and regularly update contact information for journalists, editors, producers, and other media representatives.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fWrite press releases, news updates, feature stories, project briefs, success stories, brochures, flyers, and other corporate and project content.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fProvide writing support to the center\'s staff in developing publications, project reports and brochures, presentations, and other materials.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fContribute to annual reports, strategies, speeches, and any other communications outputs.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fPlan and organize events and activities that showcase COMPANY\'s work to internal and external stakeholders.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fProduce wide-ranging communications content in collaboration with scientists, partners and others for newsletters, publications etc. tailored to the needs and requirements of different audiences.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fProduce multimedia content, including videos, photographs, posters.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fDevelop and manage content for COMPANY\'s websites, social media accounts and other channels.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fProactively look for opportunities to promote COMPANY\'s work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fDevelop new ideas for communications content to promote the center\'s work.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fEnsure that the center\'s work receives regular positive media coverage.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fProvide regular updates on the results of communications strategies and activities (website and social media statistics etc.) to the management.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fProvide other support and do any other tasks as requested and required by Head of Knowledge Management and Communications.

Requirements:
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fA total of 5 to 7 years of experience writing for research, development, or media organizations, preferably with a focus on international audiences.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fNative-level English and Arabic writing skills. Knowledge of any other languages is a plus.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fExcellent writing and editing skills in Arabic and English
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fA good track record of producing original, engaging content.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fExcellent knowledge of social media and communications tools and technologies
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fExperience in PR and marketing.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fExtensive experience in managing social media campaigns.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fPhotography and videography, including video editing.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fKnowledge of analytics tools for social media and other channels.
\xe2\x96\xaa\xef\xb8\x8fExcellent photography, videography, and photo and video editing skills.
