We are looking for an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates (Bill of Materials) for joinery projects in commercial buildings, hotels, and villas. The role demands expertise in estimating disciplines, including joinery, upholstery, and FFE works. The candidate should have strong technical and commercial knowledge in analyzing drawings and specifications and must be capable of leading a team in costing for high-value projects.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates (Bill of Materials) for joinery projects in commercial buildings, hotels, and villas
Specialize in estimating disciplines including joinery, upholstery, and FFE works
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to ensure accurate costing
Use Advanced Excel, AutoCAD, and PlanSwift for estimation processes
Ensure compliance with DCD and design requirements for fire-rated and acoustic doors
Lead and manage a team in costing for high-value projects
Requirements
Experience preparing cost estimates for joinery projects in commercial buildings, hotels, and villas
Strong focus in estimating joinery, upholstery, and FFE works
Technical and commercial skills in analyzing project specifications and drawings
Proficiency in Advanced Excel, AutoCAD, and PlanSwift
Knowledge of fire-rated and acoustic doors as per DCD or design requirements
Leadership experience in managing costing teams for high-value projects
Preferably a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent engineering qualification
