This role requires in-depth knowledge of materials, labor, and subcontractor costs, along with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), tender documents, and cost breakdowns for various fit-out projects.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to align estimates with project goals.
Conduct risk assessments and value engineering to optimize project costs.
Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and industry best practices.
Support contract negotiations and assist in post-tender discussions.
Review and assess project variations, claims, and cost adjustments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum 4
-7 years
of experience in estimating for
fit-out and interior design projects
in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and local market pricing.
Proficiency in estimation software, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Note - Candidate who are from outside the UAE without UAE experience and candidate who did work in fit out design industry will be rejected automatically.
