Senior Estimator - Interior Fit-Out & Joinery (with ERP Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimator with proven experience in interior fit-out and joinery projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, analyzing drawings and specifications, preparing BOQs, and collaborating with procurement and project teams. ERP experience (e.g., BuildSmart, SAP, ZOHO or similar) is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Study and analyze architectural/interior drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates. Prepare detailed BOQs, take-offs, and cost summaries for interior fit-out and joinery projects. Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and suppliers to gather essential cost data. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiate terms, and recommend selections. Prepare and submit tender documents in compliance with client requirements. Utilize ERP systems for estimating, budgeting, and tracking material/labor costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions. Track changes in project scope and adjust estimates accordingly. Prepare post-tender clarifications and support contract negotiations. Assist in preparing commercial submissions and final account statements. Attend site visits and client meetings when required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in interior fit-out and joinery estimation within the UAE/GCC. Strong knowledge of materials, production processes, and market rates related to joinery and fit-out. Proficient in ERP software such as BuildSmart, SAP, or similar systems. Excellent command of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools. Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with high-end commercial and residential projects. Knowledge of UAE market pricing and vendor network. Strong understanding of production techniques in a joinery factory setup. RICS or other relevant professional certifications (desirable).

Salary Range:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
