About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Estimator cum Estimation Head

to lead our estimating department for

joinery and interior fit-out projects

. This role combines hands-on estimating with strategic leadership and is critical to securing profitable and well-priced projects.

You will oversee the full tendering process, guide the estimating team, and work closely with management, procurement, and project delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the estimating function for joinery and fit-out projects Prepare and review detailed cost estimates and BOQs Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents Develop bid strategies, pricing structures, and margin targets Manage and mentor estimators and junior staff Conduct tender reviews, risk analysis, and value engineering Coordinate supplier and subcontractor pricing Maintain estimating databases, cost libraries, and systems Support negotiations with clients and main contractors
Candidate Profile

Minimum

8-12 years' experience

in estimating within joinery / fit-out Proven experience as a

Senior Estimator or Estimation Manager

Strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing and installation Leadership experience managing estimation teams Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
Software & Skills (Preferred)

Estimating software (Cubit, CostX, Bluebeam, or similar) Advanced MS Excel skills Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
Qualifications

Trade background or qualification in Joinery, Carpentry, or Construction Degree or diploma in Construction Management or related field (advantage)
