We are looking for a talented and experienced Interior Joinery Fit-out Estimator cum Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the fit-out and joinery industry, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and managing costs efficiently.
Responsibilities
Assess project requirements and client specifications to determine scope of work.
Study/Review tender drawings and documents for discrepancies, additional BOQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer, liaise with consultant regarding ambiguities contract work scope and clarifications.
Prepare bills of quantities by means of analyzing direct and indirect cost for the BOQ items.
Sending inquiries to suppliers/subcontractors and comparing received quotations.
Prepare/Revise detailed drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
Update drawings based on site conditions or client changes.
Supporting client presentations with 2D/3D visuals.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Estimator/Draftsman in Interior Joinery Fit out Projects
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design
Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and other drafting software
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of estimating software like PlanSwift, Bluebeam or similar
Good understanding of joinery works with strong knowledge of materials (wood, veneer, laminates, hardware, etc.), manufacturing processes, and installation techniques
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Preferred
UAE Driving License (Reliably commute).
Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and other local authority processes.
