Meraki Group is excited to invite applications for the position of Senior Estimation Engineer - Facade. We are seeking an experienced professional who possesses a comprehensive understanding of estimating processes within the facade sector. In this role, you will lead the estimation efforts for facade projects, providing accurate and competitive cost assessments to support project bidding and execution.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for facade projects, taking into account materials, labor, and overhead costs. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and scopes of work to prepare comprehensive bids. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and suppliers to gather necessary data for estimation. Prepare and present bid proposals to senior management and clients. Identify and assess risks associated with project pricing and execution. Mentor junior estimation team members and contribute to their professional development. Stay informed on market trends and material costs to ensure competitive bidding.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in estimating, with a strong focus on facade projects. Advanced proficiency in estimation software and tools. Thorough understanding of facade design principles, materials, and construction methods. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. * Capability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
